Bal Chikitsa Matra Ganana ("the App") is an Ayurvedic pediatric dose calculator designed for qualified Ayurvedic practitioners (BAMS/MD Ayu). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App on Android devices.

2. Information We Collect

The App stores the following information only on your device (local storage — no cloud):

• Doctor Profile: Name, degree, clinic name, registration number, city, phone
• Patient Records: Patient name, age, weight (only if you choose to save)
• Calculation History: Drug names, doses calculated, timestamps
• App Preferences: Theme settings, premium status

We do NOT collect any data on external servers, cloud storage, or third-party analytics platforms.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information stored in the App is used solely to:

• Display your doctor profile on generated prescriptions (PDF)
• Save patient records for future reference during clinical use
• Show recent calculation history for quick access
• Maintain your app preferences across sessions

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, analytics, or profiling.

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored locally on your device using SQLite database and Android SharedPreferences. No data is transmitted to any server, cloud storage, or third-party service.

Data security depends on your device's own security settings (screen lock, storage encryption). We recommend enabling a screen lock on your device to protect patient information.

5. Internet Access & Permissions

The App requests internet access only for:

• Processing the one-time Premium upgrade via Google Play Billing
• Verifying purchase status with Google Play

All medical calculations, drug database, dose formulas, Basti calculator, Growth assessment, and Vaccination schedule work fully offline without any internet connection.

6. In-App Purchases

The Premium upgrade is processed entirely through Google Play Billing. When you make a purchase:

• Payment is handled by Google Play — we never see your card or billing details
• We only receive a purchase confirmation token from Google Play
• Purchase can be restored on reinstall using the same Google account

7. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for use by qualified medical professionals (Ayurvedic practitioners). It is not intended for direct use by children under 18.

While the App calculates doses for pediatric patients, the App user must always be a qualified practitioner who takes clinical responsibility for all treatment decisions.

8. Medical Disclaimer

This App is a clinical reference tool for qualified Ayurvedic practitioners only. It does not replace professional medical judgment, examination, or diagnosis.

All doses and calculations must be verified by a qualified practitioner before administration. The developers are not responsible for any clinical decisions made based on App output.

9. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by:

• Clear app data: Android Settings → Apps → Bal Chikitsa → Storage → Clear Data
• Uninstall the App: Permanently removes all locally stored data

There is no account to delete as we do not store any data on our servers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated through an App update on Google Play. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
